

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Mary Anna Wolford on Thursday, March 4, 2021. Mary was born November 21, 1936 in Baltimore, MD. She lived a fulfilling life as a mother who raised four children, Mary Anna Tomarchio (s: Joseph), Ralph Warren Norton (s: Sabrina), David Warren Norton (s: Michele), Frederic Scott Norton (s: Nancy). Mary was grandmother to eight grandchildren Bridgetta, Joseph and Samantha Tomarchio; Tabatha, Chad, Cory, Cody and Alex Norton; and one great-grand child Lucian Merk. Survived by siblings, Gertrude Zlockie, Margaretta Monteclaro, Ellen Dutkevich, and Al Erdman. Preceded by Richard and William Erdman, and Dorothy Preisinger, her late sister in law whom she also raised.
She lived a vibrant life filled with compassion, pride and integrity. All that knew her admired her strength and loved her very much. She adored animals, the church, and gardening. Most of all, she treasured her family, of which she was immensely proud. Mary leaves behind beautiful memories, and a loving family who will carry on her legacy.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 11th from 6pm-8pm at Schimunek Funeral Home, Nottingham, MD. Additionally a full mass will be held on Friday, March 12th, at 10am at St. Ursula's Catholic Church in Parkville, followed by burial at Parkwood Cemetery in Parkville, MD.
