On March 20 th, the first day of Spring, he passed away peacefully and is now with the Lord. He is survived by his wife Shirley of 68 years, his daughter Sharon and husband Frank, sons Melvin W. Burton, Jr. and Michael and his wife Kathleen. His 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and his precious puppy "PixieLee". He is retired from General Motors with 30 years of service and worked at the Presbyterian Home in Towson as their handyman for over 30 years.
Relatives and friends may gather at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc.,9705 Belair Road, Nottingham Md 21236 on Thursday March 23 from 3-5 and 7-9 P.M. His funeral service will be held on Friday March 24 at 10:00 am at Perry Hall United Methodist Church located at 9615 Belair Road, Nottingham, Md 21236. Interment Parkwood Cemetery. in lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Perry Hall United Methodist Church.
