Melvin “Mel” John Janicki, age 82, of White Marsh, MD, passed away on February 26, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Georgia Lee Janicki (nee Neuman); devoted father of Sindie Ann Marks and her husband Bob, and Christy Marie Jamison and her husband Rich; loving grandfather of Alyssa Renee Marks and her fiancé Scott Meyler, Tonya Nicole Marks, Cross Alexander Jamison, Chylie Marie Jamison, and Lillymay Catherine Jamison; dear brother of Josie Ellis and her late husband Don. Melvin was predeceased by ten siblings. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 10:30 A.M., at the funeral home. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
