On February 2, 2015, Myron Derwood Westfall passed away at the age of 97. He was a retiree of the US Postal Service and a WW II veteran that participated in the Normandy invasion. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Westfall (nee Kozel); dear father of Larry Westfall and his wife Gina and Roger Westfall and his fiancée Teresa. He was the proud grandfather of Deanna, Scott, Ashley, Brittany, Molly and Brooks. He is also a great grandfather of Kristopher, Cooper, Rex and Madison.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. (at Forge Rd.) on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm where a funeral service will be held at 10 am on Friday with interment to follow at the Parkwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 8219 Town Center Drive, Baltimore, MD 21236.
