Myrtle Joan Byrne (nee Palmer), age 89, of Baltimore, MD passed away on January 20, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Calton Byrne, Sr.; devoted mother of Doris A. Byrne, Patricia A. Speranzella and her husband Jeff, Linda J. Harber and her husband Marc, Donna M. Guberman and her husband Jim, Russell W. Byrne, and the late Robert C. Byrne, Jr.; loving grandmother of Steven P. Tippett and his wife Kerrie, Christina M. Rhodes and her husband Cody, Timothy J. Byrne and his wife Holly, Molly C. Whitfield and her husband C.J., Brandon J. Byrne, Robert C. Byrne, III and his wife Laura, and the late Sarah E. Bolasky; dear sister of the late Kenneth Palmer. Also survived by many loving great-grandchildren, as well as her former son-in-law Walter Niederwemmer, Jr., and her dear friend Hattie Martin.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Thursday, January 25, 2024, from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 11 AM, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
