On January 12, 2026, Nancy Carol Nicolay (nee Beverungen) passed away peacefully. She was the beloved wife of Gregory Kruse; devoted mother of Kelly Anne Ridley, her husband Lawrence, Robert James Nicolay Sr, his fiancé Heather Lynn Satterfield, and Sherry Lee Nicolay, her fiancée Richard Ingram; loving grandmother of Paris Victoria Ridley, Robert James Nicolay Jr; dear sister of Linda O’Keefe, and Jean Beverungen.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Nancy’s name to the Helping Up Mission for Women and Children, 1216 East Baltimore St., Baltimore, MD 21202.
