On January 6, 2017, Richard "Chick" Hardesty, 82, beloved husband of the late Daisy Hardesty; devoted father of Barbara Alleman and her husband Ray, and Theresa Painter and her husband Thomas; loving grandfather of Jeffrey Alleman and his fiancée Kalyn, Shawn Alleman and his wife Breanna, Heather Painter, Nicholas Painter, and Daniel Alleman and his wife Megan; loving brother of Margaret Maggio, the late Robert Hardesty, the late Lillian Pfeiffenberger, and the late Patricia Horchar; loving great-grandfather of Sean, McKayla, Emma, Rylan, and Lennox.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 AM at St. Ursula Catholic Church, 8801 Harford Rd. Baltimore, MD 21234. Interment at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd. Elkridge, MD 21075.
