Ronald Ernest Burkhead passed away on April 21st, 2026, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Shirley Burkhead. Devoted father of Cindy Wike (William) and Kimberly Stinebaugh (Michael); Dear brother of John, Bob, Doug, Kay, and Pat; Loving grandfather of Brianna, Danny, Brad, Kaitlin, Brooke, Scott, Roni, and Brady; Cherished great grandfather of Reign, Ollie, Kori, and Laighton; And also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A memorial service will take place at Schimunek Funeral Home located at 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham, MD 21236, on Friday, May 1st, 2026, at 10AM. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ronalds name to the American Cancer Society.
