On January 2, 2026, Thelma “Pat” Poole (Shay Blevins) passed away peacefully. She was the beloved wife of the late Milton E. Poole; devoted mother of Michael Poole, his wife Cynthia, Virginia “Ginger” Saunders, and Vickie Idzik, her husband Douglas; loving grandmother of Phillip Saunders, his wife Megan, Zachary Idzik, his wife Kourtney, and Kelly Crawford; cherished great grandmother of Talia Idzik, Salem Saunders, and Logan Hanna; dear sister of Howard “Monty” Blevins, his wife Claire, and the late Donna Smith, and Willard “Kent” Blevins.
A memorial service will be held at St. Mary Episcopal Church, 1 St. Mary Church Rd, Abingdon, MD 21009, on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10:00am.
