Theodore “Ted” Walter Synowka, age 95, of Parkville, MD, passed away on January 18, 2025. He was the beloved husband of the late Edith “Edie” F. Synowka; cherished friend of Antonia Mattia and her wife Marta Uribe and their children, Miguel, Magda, and Bobi Mattia-Uribe, and granddaughter, Gabriella Smith, as well as his friends Joseph Paul Faber, and Mary Kathryn Mudd and her husband Luke and their daughter Morgan; loving brother-in-law and uncle to many living in England.
Theodore was a veteran of the United States Navy. After his military service, he attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering, and went on to have a long career as an Electrical Engineer.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 10 A.M., at Oak Crest Village Chapel, 8800 Walther Blvd, Parkville, MD 21234. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ted’s name to the Oak Crest Benevolent Care Fund, 8800 Walther Blvd, Parkville, MD 21234.
