Tom always used to tease me about my pet pig Fergus... but with him I knew it always came from a good place.. He was like a big brother to me... He was a hard worker and always took care of his family no matter what. No matter what I’ll always be there for Julie and Gabe and make sure they’re ok. Rest well friend❤️

Ever since Julie mentioned that we could share one of our memories, I wrestled with coming up with what I’d say so I’m going to share the time that I worked with Tom at Columbus Center. I was there often and Tom and I became friends. We would chat the whole time like a couple girls every time I was there. As if it were yesterday, I remember his chat when he told me about Julie.  He kinda played it somewhat low key but it was clear that he was truly smitten. Every time I’d see him, he’d bring up Julie. Eventually we all met and I could see how he looked at her and I knew he’d found his one. 
I wish we had hung out more when we had the chance but life gets in the way and  people get busy. Next time a friend  reaches out I’m going to think of you and make the effort because we may not have tomorrow.a

Tom,
         I remember when you lived on Cornwall and I also remember moving you out of Cornwall and you had a ridiculously heavy fish tank not to mention all the other shit you had.
 I remember when you got the Chrysler 300 stuck in a ditch at Jay's house and had to get Jay's pickup truck to pull you out.
 I remember working with you at solo cup.
 I remember our trip to sesame place it got off to a little bit of a rocky start but it turned out to be a great family vacation.
 I remember all the talks and family gatherings over the years.
I want to thank you for all the great memories.
Your friendship ment a lot to me and I will never forget you.

Hey Tom, I wish this was a dream that we all could wake up from. Everyday I think about you, all I wanna do now is just watch your tribute video over and over again and it breaks my heart because you look so happy in those photos and I just wish that I could go back and time so I can talk to you and spend more time with you before all this happened. Tom was a great man. My favorite memory of Tom involved his precious tomoto plants. He loved those plants more then anything in the world. We had a big storm with strong winds and Julie's favorite tree in her front yard got damaged. Julie was so upset and trying to manage this large tree by herself because Tom was checking on his tomoto plants lol. He was a great man with an amazing work ethic, great love for his family and a never quit attitude.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine how hard this is for the the both of you. I hope that your cherished memories can bring you both comfort. It sounds like your Dad (and husband) was a one of kind guy. It doesn’t surprise me though, because that is just what you are Gabe. Your dad will live on through you and help guide you through the tough times. You are a sweet, kind and respectful young man and I know you have already made your dad so proud. You were definitely one of a kind. The best friend and husband  to Julie and the greatest father to Gabe. I will always remember your humor (ie. smart text messages you would send me randomly), your knowledge and your wit.  You sure did know how to cook up some soul food too. The food at Julie’s baby shower I will never forget as it was that of a feast for a king. You took wonderful care of Julie and Gabe even in your worst of days. You were a hard worker and a lover.  I wish you were still here with us but you are at peace now.  Just know we will all do our part to try to give the same care, knowledge and love that you did for them both. Rest In Peace my friend. 

I will always remember when I went to there house and he was doing dialysis and watching tv one of them is once upon a time. He was the bad ass uncle every one wanted. It’s hard to say goodbye to a hard working man that fought for everything. He was the best thing that happened to my aunt Julie. He was kinda hearted but he did always get a point across. I will never forget him and always miss him.❤️

I remember sitting around at holidays,  trying to figure out how to get people riled up. I remember having blunt conversations.  You came into our family and made an immediate impact.  You will be missed and I promise I will always be there for gabe and julie just as I promised. Things will never be the same but you taught us that thats ok.

I will always cherish the fact you were humble, quiet and private a set of traits we should all strive for. You were courageous in a way to be admired beyond what most of us call courageous. Mostly what you showed in your courage and humility that I was able to see was the love you had for your family. It kept the fire burning inside you. A fire that will never go out because you passed it on to each of us who got to know you. May that love and fire forever be your legacy.

I remember the first time i met you Julie was like wait til you meet this guy Tom he is pretty cool and wait til you see his car it is so tricked out hahaha. The parties, the late nights, the talks. i still remember the night you told me you had feelings for Julie. I still remember the time we were going to Andrews birthday party and cams costume didn’t come with a mask and you sat there and painted one on his face, and the time cam fell off of the chair and hit his head and me and Julie were freaking out and you looked at us like we were crazy and said he was fine to calm the hell down. And the times you and George would mess with me and Julie about one thing or another, you 2 were as thick as thieves lol.  I will forever miss you, you were the realist person I have ever met you never sugar coated anything for anybody. You were a awesome husband and father and a best friend. I will make sure I am there for Julie and Gabe for whatever they need 

Tommy, I am still trying to process that you are gone too soon. I remember the first time I met you and we were sitting in your mother's living room and you looked at me in a crazy way and asked me why I was gonna marry your brother lol. You were always funny, down to earth, honest and up front, and had a huge heart. Thank you for being an awesome brother-in-law to me and a wonderful uncle to my kids. My heart aches that you are gone, wish we had many more years with you but we are blessed to have had you for the time that we did. You were always there to correct me when I'm wrong and give me the best advice to better myself

My favorite memory of you Tom, is when you offered to help me get in shape after I was diagnosed with thyroid disease.   You tried to give me guidance on eating, vitamins, and were going to help me exercise.  After one "session," we ended up watching a documentary about space and talked extensively about the universe, our place in it, and if we're alone.  I think that was one of the most fun existential discussions I ever had.
Thank you for your friendship and I will miss you.

When Tom was at our house for a party he and I were chatting and he was teasing about his Julie and Gabe, it was the kind of teasing that people do who have a strong and loving relationship.  He loved them dearly.  Some things are obvious without much having to be said.  Gabe is who he is because of strong and loving parents.  His Dad has given him life skills, both in practical things and in just showing him how to be a decent person, and because of that his Dad will always be part of him, wherever he goes in life.   

Part 2 
Most people may have know you ass just a smart ass but not a lot of people have spent as much time with you to get to know you and know that sweet man that you tried to hide under that hard ass cover that you put it. I wish I had a picture of us together but neither one of us like pictures so we didn't have not a single one together. I really wish we had one it kills me that we don't and I really wish that we had one. But we both hated pictures and people , we had so much in common and I wish we had spent more time together. I wish I could just see you one more time and tell you how much I love you and I miss you and think of some smart ass comment to come back at you with. I just wish I came over this summer for our birthday and had spent one last birthday with you but I thought we had more time and I really wish you did. I know I didn't show it and I wish I could tell you how much you meant to me because I don't think you know. I looked up to you so much I wanted to be like you and have all the tattoos you had and be the hard ass you were and not take shit from anyone and be who you truly were and didn't care about what people think. You are my role model and always will be , I'm gonna make you proud. I'm really going to miss you and this is going to be so hard. But were going to make it through it because that's what you would want us to do. And i'm gonna make sure that Julie and Gabe are going to be alright. I promise you that I will make sure they are taken care of so you won't have to worry about it up there. I miss your smart ass so much . - I love you so much Uncle Dad. 

Part 1
There isn't enough words to explain what you meant to me and to so many people. I don't know what to do know that your gone , who's going to tell me i'm doing things wrong and tell me I need to save money and get my life together like you did. I should have listened to you when you said them and i'm regretting not listening to now. I wish I could tell you that I'm going to do what you wanted me to and get my life together and be the great woman you always told me you I would be. I'm gonna make you proud and I wish you would be here to see me do it. I'm gonna do everything you told me to do and I'm not going to let you down. I wish your sarcastic comments about everything. I'm going to miss spending our birthday together every year. I miss spending that week together every year and having so much fun. Every year were gonna celebrate the great things you did and do the things you wanted done. I'm gonna stop wasting money like you told me to and put my priorities first , I'm going to do everything you told me too , I should have done it so you could see me do it and you could be proud of me. You will never be forgotten and you will always be celebrated , I know you will with us every day and I know you will watch out for us. I can feel that your here and making sure were okay and doing what you asked. I know that you will be with us everyday. Your memory will live on forever and be celebrated everyday. I don't know who's gonna make me laugh every time I come over and be such an ass but we know that's how you are and that's how you show your love. With your sarcastic comments. The house feels empty without you and it doesn't smell like your doing something amazing in the kitchen. Know ones food will every be as good as yours and no one will every be able to make spaghetti like you do. I miss your coke drinking smart ass. 

It is too hard to put the words together how much you will be missed. I am so blessed and proud to call you my son-in-law.  I am so grateful you are part of our family. I am so thankful my daughter had such a wonderful man in her life and the amazing son you both brought into this world. I will cherish the memories of all the cooking tips you shared with me. I will miss your crazy sense of humor like the one Christmas you wore the tree ornaments I made for you guys as earrings. I love you and will miss you ❤️

I will always remember Tom as a husband, father, provider and chef.  He was a man of strong will.   He was a good man.  He will be dearly missed. 

Words can not Express how much you will be missed. And this is so hard to write because it still doesn't seem real. I am so grateful you came into our lives 14 years ago.  You loved my sister unconditionally and are an amazing father. You are such an amazing Uncle to my kids. I know Gabe and Julie will be ok because you raised one very strong little boy. We love you and will miss you forever.

I remember just last Christmas sitting at jays house talking about how much fun it was to piss rick off.  He would always tell you exactly how he felt. Or what he thought.  He was definitely one of a kind.  He was always  ready to listen and gave you his opinion even if you didn't ask.  He was so proud of his son. 

Tommy, it’s pretty difficult to write this without crying right now. But, I just wanted to say how much you will truly be missed by all. Even though I rarely got to see you due to distance and hectic lives we live, I always saw you as not just any family member, but an amazing, caring, and strong man, who whole-heartedly loved his wife and kids. I remember when I first met you through Karen and Tim many years ago at a family gathering.  You were so down to earth and funny! Even more, you treated my oldest daughter, Lianna like your own. You have deeply touched the lives of many people with your big heart ❤️. Heaven has indeed, gained a beautiful angel. We’ll always love and miss you Tommy😢❤️

I will forever miss you Tom. Thank you for all the talks that we had about the different types of meat and which types of meat are the best and the locations of them and for all the knife handling advice you gave me, and helping me with the start of my cooking passion. I miss and love you  ~ Jr

Well, I think I'm still in denial. Pop Tom was an amazing grandfather.  He was very hard working and he tried his best to make us happy. He was an amazing cook, I think we all agree to that. I dont really know what to say.. my greatest memories were always the Christmases when both of our families were together and happy.  I'm really going to miss him but I believe he is in a better place now. I regret that I didn't get to say goodbye.
