On February 21, 2026 Timothy "Tim" Elliott passed away. He was the beloved husband of Jeri Elliott; devoted father of David Elliott and his wife Nicol, and Brian Elliott and wife Allison; cherished grandfather of Evan, Raley, Kelsey, Blake, and Dylan; loving brother of the late Chuck Elliott, Nancy Hiatt, and Betsy Crane; dear brother-in law of Dick Musch and his wife Nancy and their family.
Tim was born on December 1, 1940, in Plainfield, New Jersey, to Charles and Isabel Elliott. In his youth, the family relocated to Wilmette, Illinois, where he graduated from New Trier High School in 1958. He looked forward to attending his class reunions and reconnecting with lifelong friends and classmates. A gifted athlete, Tim lettered in football, basketball, and baseball during his high school years and played summer baseball with the American Legion.
He went on to attend Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin, graduating in 1963. Following college, Tim proudly served in the United States Army Reserves.
After his service, Tim settled in Baltimore, Maryland, where he met his future wife, Jeri. They shared sixty wonderful years of marriage filled with devotion, partnership, and family. They both enjoyed watching their sons' and grandchildren's sporting events over the years.
Tim built a successful career in both the insurance and banking industries, retiring in 2002 from Allfirst Bank. He also dedicated his time and leadership as a board member of Neighborhood Housing Services of Baltimore, a nonprofit organization committed to providing affordable housing to families in Baltimore City.
A faithful member of St. Michael Lutheran Church, Tim found great joy in worship, fellowship, and community. He was an avid golfer and treasured the many rounds he played with friends and fellow church members.
A Celebration of Tim's life will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 at St. Michael Lutheran Church at 11:00 AM, where relatives and friends are invited to gather from 9AM-11AM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Tim's memory to St. Michael Lutheran Church, 9534 Belair Rd., Nottingham, MD 21236.
