On February 11, 2016 Vernon Clinton Smith passed away. He was the beloved husband of the late Carmen Smith; devoted father of Suzan Paradise and her husband Bill; cherished grandfather of Jennifer Preston and her husband Rick, and Michelle Westfall and her husband Scott; loving great-grandfather of Emily Preston, Madeline Preston, Cooper Westfall, Rex Westfall, and Logan Whiteman; loving great-great-grandfather of Max Cable and Jaxon Kapela; dear sister Vernie Jones, Virginia Stephens, and the late Virgie Meyers.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10AM. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Maryland SPCA 3300 Falls Rd. Baltimore, MD 21211.
