Vincent John Rose III

Vincent John Rose, III, formerly of Overlea, Maryland, passed away on September 18, 2025. He was the devoted father of Vincent John Rose, IV, the loving stepfather of Lindsey Beyer, and the cherished son of the late Barbara Rose and Vincent John Rose, Jr. Vincent is survived by his sisters, Amy Meister and Amanda Rose, and was the beloved nephew of Jeri and Bill Petterson, Patricia Rose, Nancy and Tim Myerholtz, and Joan and William Suitt.

At the time of his passing, Vincent was completing his certification as a professional counselor. He was a dedicated volunteer and shared encouragement and guidance with those facing challenges. He especially valued his work with autistic teens and young adults.

He will be remembered as an accomplished athlete and coach in lacrosse and football. Admired for his quick wit, photographic memory, and remarkable knowledge of sports statistics. In his quieter moments, he found peace and joy with a fishing rod in hand.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 4-8 P.M. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 10 A.M., at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Parkwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Vince’s name to the Ocean City Reefs Foundation at www.ocreefs.org
