Jeffrey Danz

Jeffrey Michael Danz Jeff to all who knew him. Age 36. Resides Novato, CA. Passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2012. Born in Elk Grove, Il on June 17, 1975 he moved to California with his mother at age 4. Jeff is survived by his former wife, Dawn Bontrager Danz and his two children, Gailynn, age 5 and JJ age 3; his mother and stepfather, Wendy Schneider and Dr. William Teufel of San Geronimo, CA; his father and stepmother, Arthur Danz Jr. and Barbara Danz of Antioch, Il and his brothers Chris and Tim; Grandparents William and Norine Schneider and Jackie Danz. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Arthur Danz, Sr. and grandmother Marilyn Nordskog. Jeff grew up in northern California but spent a good deal of time with family in Chicago. He loved working on cars, playing softball with the guys, and just being a friend to others. He married Dawn Bontrager in 2003 and produced 2 wonderful children, Gailynn and Jeff Jr. Jeff spent time in the US Navy and more recently was a surgical technician at Marin General Hospital. Memorial services will be held at Keatons Redwood Chapel of Marin, 1801 Novato Blvd., Novato on Saturday, March 17th at 2:30PM.
