Randy Thomsen was raised in Novato and was a California Native. Born in Santa Rosa on March 24, 1954 he passed away on January 1, 2013 after a long illness, he was 58.
He was a graduate of Novato High School Class of ‘72.
For many years, Randy was a painting contractor in Marin County and owned his own business RKT Painting.
He was an accomplished bass player and musician and long time member of Warehouse 31.
Randy is survived by family members: Mother, Margaret (Thomsen) Berner (Novato); Father, Kai (Nancy) Thomsen (Reno, Nevada); Sisters Pamela McCafferty (Thomsen) (Frisco, Texas) Amie Thomsen (predeceased, Novato) Step-siblings Jeffrey (Tabitha) Hebble, (Reno, Nevada), Blair (John) Miller (Centennial, Colorado) and David Hebble (Coronado, California).
A memorial service will be held at Keaton’s Mortuary in Novato on Friday January 11th at 2:00 p.m.
