

Bud was born to Frank Sr. and Marie on January 3, 1927 in Ketchikan Alaska. He was a member of the local High School basketball team. He served in the Navy during WWII. After proudly serving his country he met the love of his life, Anne-Marie, of 62 years. He shared in the family business, Palace Laundry & Cleaners, in Ballard. After selling the business he drove school bus for Shoreline School District. When he retired he moved to Coupeville where he lived for the past 19 years.
Bud loved to golf and enjoyed watching a wide variety of sports. He could bring a smile to anyone’s face with a joke or two. When he was younger he liked to ride his Harley and get together with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Marie, and his brother Robert. He is survived by his wife Anne-Marie, his daughters Diane Davis and Debra (Terry) Hurd, his son Frank (Ardis) Mortenson, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and his brother Mel.
He was the best husband; father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.
There will be a Celebration of Life on September 14th at 11:30 on Whidbey Island in Harrington Lagoon in the community lot.

He will be missed deeply by family and friends.
