She was born in North Hollywood, California and lived in the San Fernando Valley with her husband and two children. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Hall Clarke from San Jose, California. Shirley moved with her children to Coupeville, Washington in 2005.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Beverly Sheehan, son Steven Clarke, grandchildren, Christine Masters, Richard Terry and Jennifer Lint and younger sister, Sharon Schowe of Jeffersonville, IN. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, Leann, Chris, Josh and Justin and 3 great-great grandchildren, Jaimee, Casey and Emma, all on Whidbey Island.
Per her wishes, she will be cremated and a celebration of life will take place in late May or early June.
