Angela M. Tieberg

Angela was born in Oak Park, Illinois to Francis J. Tossi and Margaret A. Tossi (Scholl) on June 27, 1953.

Angela graduated from Loyola University with a BA in Education. Angela went on to teach elementary grades at St. Celestine School in Elmwood Park, Illinois. Angela met Gordie Tieberg at a Las Vegas night charity event for the school and they were married on December 1, 1979.

Angela and Gordie lived in Woodridge Illinois, Aurora Colorado, Houston Texas, Coppell Texas, Peoria Illinois, and Cypress Texas before retiring to Las Vegas, Nevada. They had three daughters Alison Margaret, Gillian Lola, and Christine Frances. Angela enjoyed talking to her daughters every day, making stained glass art, playing puzzle games, and spending time with her 4 beloved grandchildren.

Angela was preceded in death by her parents Francis and Margaret Tossi.

Angela is survived by her husband and lifelong partner, Gordie Tieberg; daughters, Alison Yates and husband Allen of Peoria, Illinois, Gillian Anaya and husband Joel of Manvel, Texas, and Christine Hickman and husband Nathan of Katy, Texas; grandchildren, Layton & Skylar Yates and Elijah & Emilia Anaya; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pamela Galas, Leah and Ray Ciaccio, Monica and Richard Stanchiu, and Jim Henderson; along with her extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families.

Visitation will be held on September 30th between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Chapel Hill Garden South Funeral Home, 11333 South Central Avenue, Oak Lawn, Illinois.

Funeral will be held at St. Linus Catholic Church 10300 Lawler Avenue, Oak Lawn, Illinois at 11:00 a.m. on October 1st. A mass will be presided by Father Joseph Baker with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery.
