Bertha M. Kaster Dangles

Bertha M. Dangles age 92, beloved wife of the late Eugene, dearest daughter of the late Nick and Sophie Kaster loving mother of Chris (Joyce) Dangles, Denise Dangles; niece, Ellen (Steven) Kaster-Berk; dearest grandmother of Ann Marie and Matthew Dangles, Orlando “Landy” Lopez-Fernandez, Robin and Elise Berk; dearest sister of Tom (the late Harriet), the late Jim (the late Xenia) Kaster and Katherine (the late Peter) Athanis; also survived by her loving nieces, nephews, cousins, many godchildren and friends. Bertha was a vibrant woman, a powerful force of energy and strength, who lived life to the fullest. She had an abundance of rewarding and loyal friendships in Chicago and Florida. Bertha was devoted to her late husband “Gene” and kept his memory alive by sharing stories of their life together. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed entertaining family and friends. She was devoted to her St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church where she sang in the Choir for over 75 years. Bertha will indeed be missed and her memory will forever be in our hearts. Visitation Wednesday, 10:30 am until time of Service 11:30am at St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 10301 S. Kolmar Ave, Oak Lawn.Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
