Dominic Louis Marcanio, age 43, passed away on June 23, 2018, formally of Blue Island, IL. Loving father of Eric Dominic Marcanio; Beloved husband of Tara Marcanio; Cherished son of Louis (the late Deana) Marcanio and Linda, nee DeBow (Kevin) Hawn; Devoted brother of the late Christine (Joseph) Martino, Joseph (Elizabeth) Marcanio, Adam Barrientos, Anthony (Diane) Barrientos, Lance Barrientos, and Travis Hawn; Favorite uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews; Step-father of Kaylie Mahoney; Best fur friend of Madison. Visitation will be from 3-9 PM on Wednesday, 6/27, at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 S Central Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453. Funeral Service will take place at 10 AM on Thursday, 6/28, also at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery. Dominic was a dedicated Iron Worker since the age of 18, an avid fisherman, and took pride in his strong faith. He was a genuine and humble man who will be missed by many.
