Dear Phil and Family,
  My thoughts and sympathies go out to all of you at this sad time.  Georgeen was such fun to be with, and I especially treasure the memories of her as we spent time at Splithand.  Hours in a boat fishing and sometimes even catching walleyes, and evenings playing cribbage until the generator ran out of gas stand out in my mind as quality time for our families.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Lynn, Trevor, and family. My condolences on Georgeen's passing. I will always remember her from our Christmas gatherings. My prayers are with you.

Part of my heart went with my sweet sister on Friday, April 20. She will always be a part of my life forever.  I will miss our talks about  our children and grandkids.  She will not be forgotten.  What a great wife, mom and Nana.  She is now looking down on us and keeping watch. She will be missed.  I love you George! Mrs. Butkus had a profound influence on my life as a child when we were neighbors.  She was one of the most kind hearted people I have or ever will know. I truly believe my love of dogs comes from her.  Most importantly, thank you for being the best friend in the world to my mom.  There are a lot of happy dogs in heaven right now because you are once again by their side.  I am very blessed to have known such a wonderful person.

Dear Phil, Lynn, and Jeff and your families, Oh I know how you will miss her! She has always been to me, for over 40 years, the diamond example of a loving wife and Mother. But beyond that a real Christian, not only in her heart but in her life's actions, and a true friend. As said before here, to all she was a friend. She always held a shining example of good intent and fairest, at her core. In both good times and bad times.  She, as a life's friend, can never be replaced in my heart.  How much more you will feel her missing!  Prayers will be said for you every day. If there is a Scrabble board in heaven, we will meet there. I am sure.
