She was born on September 9th, 1929 in Chicago, IL to Kathryn Mooney (Haines), and George Mooney.
Georgiana Kerley was an accountant for Derby Foods. She loved playing cards visiting with her immediate family and friends, dancing in the kitchen and cooking. She was known for her kindness and generosity to others. Throughout her life, Georgiana Kerley was deeply passionate about her husband “Red”, and family. She will be remembered by all who knew her for smiling face and caring attitude.
Georgiana Kerley loving mother of Catherine Guzik, (Frank), Leroy Kurkewich, (Diane), dear grandmother of Daniel Clarke, (Sherry), Michael Kurkewich, Joe Kurkewich, Jeff Kurkewich, Kara Kurkewich, Sam Kurkewich, and Gary Kurkewich Jr. She was preceded in death by Earnest Kerley, loving husband and Gary Kurkewich, cherished son.
A visitation will be held at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral home on Friday October 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM to 3:00pm followed by prayer services. A burial will occur at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery at 3:00 PM.
