Devoted mother of the late Carol J. McClure (Charlie), Judi Weber (Mike), James (Ellen), the late John (Julie), William (Ruth), Donald (Lori), Eddie-George, and Thomas (Dawn).
Cherished grandmother of 16: Carrie, Tracey, Jason, Jimmy, Savina, the late Jonathan, Michael, Samantha, Steven, Robert, Jessica, Joey, Camille, the late Tyler, Luke, Brittany, and Courtney.
Proud great-grandmother of 10: Sedona, Luna, Peyson, Celine, Beckett, Cosima, Naomi, Jack, Graham, and Cameron.
Jacqueline was also a beloved "adopted" mother and grandmother to many who loved her as their own, honoring her with deep respect and affection.
She was the fond sister of the late Walter Gratz, the late Francis “Toots” Reilly, and the late Virginia Babel, and leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.
A devoted friend to Dee Patzer, Nancy Jackson, Sharon Vance, Vickie Larson, Pat, Mary, and her cherished friends from the Woodhaven Lakes “Old Timers Club.”
Jackie will be remembered as a kind and generous woman who spent her life in service to others. She delighted in bringing joy to children and adults alike, often seen entertaining as “Lil Bit” the clown in local parades. An avid reader of romance and intrigue novels, she continued to enjoy her books daily. Jackie also loved swimming, dancing, and listening to music, filling her days with the things that made her smile.
She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know and love her. Special thanks to her devoted caregivers Don & Lori, Jim & Ellen, and the many family members and friends who lovingly supported her and unselfishly attended to her needs.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 S. Central Avenue, Oak Lawn, Illinois.
Funeral Service will take place on Monday, June 9th, 2025, at 10:00 am at the same location. The family requests arrival by 9:30 am.
Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, Oak Lawn, Illinois 60453.
