Martha R. Muñoz (nee Gutierrez) age 83, of Chicago, IL passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Beloved wife of 65 years to Natividad Muñoz; loving mother of Jose Antonio (Gabriela) Muñoz; Anna Marie (Jose Luis) Gonzalez, Fernanda (Guillermo) Morales, Cynthia (Hugo Cesar) Chavez, Joaquin (Regina Leslie) Muñoz; cherished grandmother of Antonio Javier, Monica Nicole, Angela, Corina Melissa, Sergio Luis, Cecilia Marie, Cesar Antonio, Erica Emilia, Samuel Alexander, Helena Martha, Michael Logan, Diego Antonio and Marco Gabriel; proud great grandmother of Kaleb Taylor, Emma Delilah, Victor Javier, Valerie Marie and Amelia Rose; dear sister of Benjamin, Ezequiel and Conrado, Jr. Gutierrez and the late Jose Angel, Isaac, Evagelina, Catalina, Daniel; Best friend to Guadalupe Lara; fond aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt to many. Martha’s memory will be remembered as a selfless, humble and compassionate person. She served God with all her heart, soul and mind. Her home and heart was always open to everyone. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 S. Central Ave., Oak Lawn, IL. Funeral Saturday, April 2, 2022. Prayers from Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Terrence Church, 4300 W. 119th Place, Alsip, IL. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL.
