Norine L. Berndt passed away peacefully on October 20th, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Berndt; loving mother of Kathy (Leo) Balanow, Judy (Rick) Schmidt, Art (Carrie) Berndt, Tom (Dolly( Berndt) and the late Maripat Guzdziol; Adoring grandmother of Nicole Miller, Joseph Blozy, Sam Balanow, Cyrena Reimer, Carolyn James, Kevin Schmidt, Tracy Quinn, Matthew Berndt, Kenny Berndt, Eric Berndt, Fr. Michael Berndt, Christopher Berndt, Anna Davis, Daniel Berndt and Jessica Guzdziol; great-grandmother of many.
A visitation for Norine will be held on Sunday October 26th, 2025 at Chapel Hill Garden South Funeral Home 11333 S. Central Ave from 4:00pm until 8:00pm, with chapel prayers on Monday October 27th, 2025 at 8:30am at the funeral home followed by a procession to St. Christina Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am. Interment Saint Mary Catholic Cemetery, Evergreen Park.
