Patricia Mary (Kennedy) Bianchin, age 89, of Merrionette Park, IL passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Angelo Bianchin (Veteran of the Korean War); loving mother of Sheri (Brad Bradley) and the late Mark “Markie B” Bianchin; cherished grandmother of Victor Bradley and Danielle (George) Selivan; Patricia is survived by five siblings- Lee (late Tom), Don, Bernie (late Sue), Kay (late Bill), and Shirley (John). She is preceded in death by 6 siblings- Ken (late Jackie); Dave (late Sylvia), Eileen (late Jerry), Dolly (late Frank), Fred (late Phyllis) and Eugene. She cherished being a part of her husband’s family. She is survived by Don (late Carol), Linda (late Mike), Roger (Linda) and predeceased by Elsa and Ray (late Betty). She is an aunt, great aunt, cousin, Godmother and dear friend to many.
She was a devout Catholic and was beautiful inside and out. In her younger years, it was not uncommon for her to be mistaken as a movie star. She loved ventures and adventures. She had a stroke when she was 55 years old, but that did not stop her from doing many of the things she loved. Last year, she traveled to Las Vegas to celebrate her granddaughters’ wedding. She was an advocate for those with disabilities and she loved nature, to play golf, bowl, cook, travel, music, plays and movies, play cards, slots and craps at the casino, paint and sew, and loved to socialize. She loved Chris Isaac, among others, and attended a concert recently. She had a wicked sense of humor. Most of all she adored her grandkids, and loved her family, friends and pets.
She was intelligent and successful at many business ventures. She owned, managed and cooked at the Route 66 Polk-a-Dot restaurant (Braidwood, IL), Don’s Drive In (Chicago, IL) and as a cosmetologist, she owned her owned home beauty shop. She also worked in other businesses such as real estate, banking and a woman’s social service agency. She was recognized in professional business directories for her achievements. She loved to remind us that she had a paper route with a friend to help the family when she was younger and took on a few bullies on her route. She had demands on her life when her parents passed at an early age, and she had younger siblings, but she handled them head on just like everything in her life.

Beloved son of the late Angelo and Patricia Mary Bianchin; dear brother of Sheri (Brad Bradley) and fond uncle to Victor and Danielle. His memory will be cherished by many other relatives and friends. He had a great big heart and maintained his Catholic beliefs. He was a handsome man but somewhat of a shy guy. He was a music aficionado and worked as a sound technician, and an audio engineering supervisor. He was intelligent and loved to read electronics journals and was a whiz at electronics; he could fix anything and that gave him great satisfaction. He had a great sense of humor and could imitate Donald Duck with perfection.
He loved to play his guitars which he played with passion and soul and to cook, especially Italian food. He loved to watch legal movies and spend time with family, friends and family pets. He also worked as an interior designer and a cook.
