Pete, words cannot describe such a nice man like you.  I am so glad we became neighbors.  You were a great friend as well.

I have always remembered my interactions with Pete because whether it was playing softball, at a golf outing, or a chance meeting, he was smiling, gracious, and attentive. He was one of a select few whose opinion actually meant something to me. A great man leaves an imprint on those he meets in our brief time here; Pete Coules was a great man.

I know how hard this must be on you since I want you to know that over the years I have watched the two of you many times and thought "I wish I was in a relationship like that one."  At every point in your life you always looked like you were deeply in love and having a great time sharing a life through thick or thin.

Sandy, Renee, Michelle, Trisha, Peter, all the spouses and all the grandkids - Our hearts are broken with the loss of such a wonderful husband, dad, grandfather, neighbor, friend and all the amazing things that Pete stood for. I just looked at the photo gallery and can hardly type this note to you. The Doody family and Coules family were one and all the same.
