Rosario was born on January 17, 1948 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Francisco and Maria Amada del Rosario Najera. She was raised in Santa Maria del Rio where she made many fond memories during her upbringing but also suffered the early loss of her father. This is also where she met the love of her life, Lorenzo del Angel, whom she’d marry in 1964. Rosario and Lorenzo raised six children, four boys, Lorenzo (Junior), Francisco Humberto, Jose Luis and Antelmo and two girls, Rosario (Nena) and Mirza Veronica. Rosario immigrated with her family to Chicago in the winter of 1974 and witnessed heavy snow fall for the first time. For someone who was not a fan of cold weather she grew to love Chicago and called it home. Rosario took great pride in her work and dedicated over 38 years of labor to Tempco Electric Heater Corporation (Wood Dale, IL.) where she formed friendships that lasted a lifetime. Rosario will be amorously remembered for her love of listening to music, singing, dancing, telling jokes, decorating and redecorating, faith and most of all her everlasting, overwhelming love of her family.
Rosario is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lorenzo Sr. and her six children, Lorenzo Jr. (Rosalba), Francisco (Maria Guadalupe), Rosario, Veronica, Jose (Natasha) and Antelmo (Pastora). She was a cherished grandmother to sixteen grandchildren, Ligia, Jennifer, Lorenzo III, Jesse, Eunice, Jacqueline, Francisco Jr., Jazmine, Christina, Elizabeth, Bianca, Felipe, Sebastian, Antelmo Jr., Daniel and Eduardo. And fifteen great-grandchildren, Logan, Emely, Jayden, Julian, Jailyne, Cataleya, Lorenzo IV, Michael, Anthony, Aiden, Adrian, Mariana, Reina, Luna, Mariana. Rosario also leaves behind five beloved siblings, Ana Maria Najera Tenorio, Rodolfo Najera Tenorio, Maria Margarita Najera Tenorio, Jose Luis Najera Tenorio and Alma Alicia Najera Campos. Rosario has reunited with her parents and her brothers, Francisco Najera Tenorio, Alfredo Najera Tenorio and Francisco Najera Campos.
