Roy G. Cowan Jr., age 69, of Oak Forest, Illinois passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20th, 2023. Roy was born on May 18, 1954, in Evergreen Park, IL. Survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Noreen (Dever). Roy graduated from Amos Alonzo Stagg High School. He was a retired truck driver for Diz Trucking. Roy is lovingly remembered by his son Wes (Cynthia); grandchildren Ben, Xander, Brayden, Tyler and Casey; sisters Pamela (John), Kimberly, Lisa (John) and brother Mark; brothers-in-law Pat (Sue) and Kevin; nephews Christopher, Patrick, Jon, Alex (Sarah), Matthew and Chris; great-nieces Cora and Zoey. Dear cousin to many.
Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Roy that will be held Wednesday, May 31st, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM service to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 South Central Avenue, Oak Lawn, Illinois 60453.
