May 6, 1951 – July 3, 2025
Sharyn L. Frank, age 74, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 3, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Sharon’s warmth and generosity left lasting mark on all who had the joy of knowing her.
Beloved wife of 54 years to her soulmate, Daniel J. Frank, Sharyn cherished her marriage and built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless adventures. Together, they traveled to many corners of the country—from the beauty of national parks and the charm of the Wisconsin Dells to the coasts of Virginia and California—always savoring the journey as much as the destination. Sightseeing along the way was one of Sharon’s greatest pleasures, often turning a simple road trip into a memorable experience.
Sharyn was a loving and dedicated mother to Jennifer (Darrell) Tynski and Joseph Frank. Her children were the lights of her life, and she extended that same deep love to her grandchildren, Adam and Grace Tynski, who were endlessly spoiled and deeply adored. Whether it was Christmas, a birthday, or just an ordinary day, Sharyn’s generous spirit made every celebration magical. She took great joy in shopping for the perfect gifts and was happiest when she could bring joy to others, especially her family.
Sharyn’s love extended beyond her immediate family. She was a dear sister to Glen Ranger, Chris (Jamie) Litwicki, and the late Pamela Ranger. She was a fond aunt to many nieces and nephews, a caring cousin, and a friend to many more. Her door was always open, her smile ever-present, and her heart full.
A lifelong music lover, Sharyn found joy in the melodies of The Beatles, the rhythm of disco, and the unforgettable sounds of the Bee Gees. Music was always playing in her home, adding another layer of warmth to the love that lived there.
More than anything, Sharyn took the greatest pride in her roles as wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was her world, and her legacy of unconditional love, thoughtfulness, and laughter will live on through them.
Sharyn L. Frank will be remembered for her kindness, her love of life, and the way she made everyone feel seen, special, and loved. She will be deeply missed and forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
A visitation and service will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 S. Central Ave., Oak Lawn. Family and friends gathering from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, Oak Lawn, IL.
