Wayne Louis Kowalski

Hilda was born on June 18,1948 in Critten, KY. She passed away on October 7, 2022 in Frankfort, IL. Wayne was born on September 5, 1947 in Chicago, IL. He passed away March 12, 2025 in Columbia, TN.

Hilda and Wayne met in 1966 while working at Technical Components Manufacturing in Alsip, IL. They were married on November 4, 1967. They raised 2 children. A daughter, Dianna and a son, David. They were married for 55 years.

Hilda loved to be creative and play scrabble. She never met a stranger she didn’t like or didn’t like her. Wayne Loved sports. Baseball being his favorite and his favorite team the Chicago Cubs. He was known by many as Mr. Cub. Wayne could carry on a conversation with anyone and everyone that gave him the opportunity.

Hilda and Wayne are survived by their daughter Dianna Kowalski Hyder ,her husband Ron Hyder, Son David Kowalski, his wife Dana, and their 3 grandchildren Alyssa Potter, Takeo and Jaxx Kowalski. Hilda’s sisters Brenda Galusha and Karen Driver. Wayne’s brother Rick Kowalski, his wife Jan and Wayne’s sister Cindy Henderson. Wayne and Hilda had many nephews ,nieces, great nephews and great nieces which they loved and leave behind.
