Barbara J. Anderson passed away at the age of 84, beloved wife to the late Ronald J. Anderson. Loving mother to Ronald J. Anderson Jr., Jon P. (Jill) Anderson, Elizabeth J. Nitkiewicz, and David M. (Jen) Anderson. Beloved grandmother to Jaxson Anderson, Cody Anderson, Brett Nitkiewicz, Sarah Nitkiewicz, Justin Anderson, Caitlin Anderson and Kyle Anderson. Dearest Great Grandmother to Stella Anderson and Logan Anderson. Fond sister to Donald S. (Linda) Schrader Jr., Penelope E. Schrader and the late Patricia L. Kampen; Godmother to Suzanna C. Schrader and Terry L Kampen; Brother-in-law Roger Anderson; Cousin to Arlene Eck (Mike) and Herb Schrader (Sue); Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Parishioner at St. Mathews Parrish in Glendale Heights where she also worked part-time. She was a member and President and Woman of the Year for CCW. She enjoyed most spending family time at the cottage over many years.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home & Cemetery, 17W201 Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. Funeral mass will be held at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church, 1S314 Summit Ave. Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181 on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 10:30 AM. Burial to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home & Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Women and Children Charities and Heart Association.
