Eleanor Clara Allen, nee Hoschele, age 83, passed away Friday, April 24th, surrounded by family. Eleanor was the loving wife for 62 years of Ronald C. Allen. She was also the sibling of four sisters and two brothers. Eleanor is preceded in death by her daughter, Carla Allen Stimpert.
Eleanor worked at Motorola and Tauber Electronics. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Lombard. Eleanor had a keen interest in her German heritage and was also a talented crocheter.
A visitation will be held at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17w201 Roosevelt Road in Oakbrook Terrace, Tuesday, April 28th at 12:00 PM until the time of service at 1:00 PM, also at the funeral home.
