I was so sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing you have my deepest condolences ,I have so many fond memories
of Jimmy when we were young on Richard St ,from are Chicago cover band to the endless street hockey games in the winter and then just running wild around the neighborhood.he was the older brother I wish I always had, I always felt protected by him ,and from I hear from others he carried that wonderful trait his whole life.To the Doyle family my thoughts and prayers are with you during this painful time of losing such a giant of a man ,brother. father  and son

Motor World is the truest meaning of the word FAMILY. No matter how long you have been away, once you are in, you are in forever. I haven't worked at Motor World for sometime now but everyone there is still my family. Jimmy was and always will be my big brother. No matter how long between visits it seemed like just yesterday. His bear hugs will always be in my memory. He was always there for this second family no matter what was happening, good or bad. My thoughts and prayers go out to Vickie and his first family and to Motor World, his second family. I have been blessed to have such a great friend in Jimmy and everyone at Motor World. I will always miss you Jimmy but you will always be in my heart.

Jimmy was never anything but nice every single time I saw him  what a great way to be remembered.

Jimmy was our friend, coworker, but most of all our family.  We stood beside each other in sad times and celebrated the happy events together.  We were so lucky to have him in our lives.  Tonight, in his memory, all lights will be off at Motor World but our memory of Jim will never dim!

I would like to express my sympathy to the entire Doyle family for Jimmy's loss. He was a neighborhood legend.  I grew up in Berkeley and have known Jimmy since I was 10 years old.  I have many memorable experiences with Jimmy.  When Jimmy was about 14 or 15 years old he recruited me to be his drummer in the band that he was in with Mike Racine and his older sister. I remember walking my drums down to Mikes house/garage in a wagon. Jimmy was the lead singer along with Mike's sister.  Jimmy learned to sing "25 or 6 to 4 by Chicago and we played it over and over. Another memorable experience was when Jimmy was rehearing for his high school speech out load in our carpool. By the time we got to school we all knew how to make a Minardi's Pizza highlighted by the facts that they only used fresh quality ingredients.   I could go on and on about Jimmy.  While being one of John's closest friends, Jimmy was like a big brother to me also.  He was always there for us when we needed him.  Jimmy will be missed by many.
