Jim Worth, age 42, of Aurora, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022. James was born August 6, 1979 in Downer's Grove to Edward and Mary (Settle) Worth. He was taken from us unexpectedly and too young.
Jim held a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and worked at Benjamin Edwards. When he wasn’t working, Jim loved being on his boat, fishing, and exploring the outdoors. He had a passion for movies, and Bill Murray movies were some of his favorites. He enjoyed collecting model cars from his favorite films, such “Back to the Future,” “Christine,” “Star Wars,” and “Smokey and the Bandit.”
Jim’s favorite thing was spending time with his family and his daughter, Brooklynn. Going out to dinners, hiking, boating, and watching movies together were some of his favorite memories. Jim was a great friend and father who will be remembered for his empathy, caring nature, and loyalty to those he loved.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Brooklynn; his mother, Mary; and his brother, Jarett. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward.
