Joyce had six sisters and four brothers, whom she has now joined in glory. She was the beloved wife of William E. Kennedy. They were united in marriage on September 19, 1953, until he joined the Lord on August 28, 2013.
Joyce was the dear mother Lori-Jayne (James) Slobodnik, and William Bradley (Jaime Hajek) Kennedy; the grandmother of three beautiful grandchildren, Sydney Rose Kennedy, Jim (Antonette), and Jason (Stephanie) Slobodnik.
Per the family's request, services will be held privately at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joyce's name to the Evangelical Family and Child Welfare Agency, 1530 N. Main Street, Wheaton, IL 60187.
