Kathryn “Katica” Hlady (nee Pakaski), age 83, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at her home at Bethlehem Woods in Lagrange Park, Illinois. Kathryn’s loving husband of 63 years, William (Bill), was at her side. Long time resident of South Holland, Illinois where she had many cherished neighbors and friendships. Giving volunteer at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Hammond, Indiana for many years. Loving mother of Melanie and Mary (Steve). Preceded in death by her brothers George, Daniel, and Thomas. Dearest sister of Robert and Michael. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services Monday, March 23 at St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church, 1500 186th Street, Lansing, IL. Viewing 9:30-11:00, followed by Service at 11:00 with the Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Milos M. Vesin officiating, and procession to Oak Hill cemetery in Hammond, IN.
