Marianne Tolar

Marianne was born March 30th, 1965 in Berwyn, IL to Helene and Joseph Tranauskas. Marianne attended school in Berwyn and as a young lady served as a past queen of Jobs Daughter’s, a Masonic Organization. In the summer of 1981, Marianne went on Vacation with her cousin Linda to Estes Park Colorado, where she met her future Husband Paul at the age of 16. After graduation from High School, Marianne Attended Cosmetology School and earned her license to become a hairdresser. In 1985 Marianne Moved to Baskin, LA and on July 19th, 1985 she married her husband Paul. From this Union came 3 wonderful children, Kristopher, Michelle, and Nicholas. When Kristopher was born, Marianne knew that being a mother was her purpose in life and chose to become a day care provider to be able to stay at home and care for Kristopher, Michelle, and Nicholas. Marianne is survived by her husband of 36 years, Paul; Son Kristopher; Daughter Michelle (Heimann) and Husband Robby; Son Nicholas; Sister Cindy Dambrogio and Husband Jerry; Sister Leona Tranauskas; stepmother Dana Tranauskas; and a host of Nieces and Nephews. She was proceeded in Death by her father Joseph Tranauskas, Mother Helene Tranauskas, and Granddaughter Charlie Joy Heimann. Marianne’s Life was spent raising her children and providing care for many other children, some of which now have their own children. Marianne was a Wife, Mother, Sister, Friend, and a Shepard of Children.

Visitation will be Monday, February 14th from 3-9pm and Tuesday, February 15th at 10am until time of funeral service 11am at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17W201 E Roosevelt Rd., Oakbrook Terrace. Interment will be private.
