Mary Jean was the loving mother of William (Kimberly) Angelos, Elena Angelos, Nicole Kubesh, and Christopher (Rachel) Angelos, and the proud grandmother (“Nona”) of Benjamin, Madeline, Evan, Mary, and Sydney. She was the cherished daughter of the late Chris and Helen Barlabas and the dear sister of Basil (Terri) Barlabas and Emmeline Jo (William) Andrae. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Betty Angelos and was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Elliott Angelos.
A proud Milwaukee native, Mary Jean graduated from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School and Mount Mary College. She went on to dedicate her career to teaching, shaping the lives of countless young students as a first-grade teacher at Prospect School in Clarendon Hills, where she retired after many years of service.
Mary Jean was also deeply committed to her faith and community, actively involved in the philanthropic work of Holy Apostles Philoptochos. Her kindness, generosity, and devotion to family and friends touched the lives of many, and she will be dearly missed.
