Noreen M. Landrebe

Noreen Margaret “Nor” Landrebe, age 82, wife of Mark A Landrebe, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, in Westchester, Illinois. Born on June 24, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois, she lived a life marked by compassion, dedication and unwavering generosity.

Noreen and Mark met at the home they were both living at, in Westchester, IL. and romance bloomed. The pair married during our infamous Covid lockdown in April of 2020 and spent the rest of their lives together, hand in hand, until Noreen’s passing.

Her professional life was defined by more than two decades of devoted service at Women’s Healthcare of Hinsdale. There, she worked tirelessly alongside the doctors and colleagues until her retirement in the early 2000’s. Her commitment to supporting others through her work left a lasting impression on colleagues and patients alike.

Noreen’s family was at the heart of her world. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters: Lynn Flory and her husband Brad Flory, and Lara Young, wife of the late Ralph Mosner. She was a proud grandmother to Ryan, Jonathan, Noah and Spencer. As a stepmother to Jeri Gooding and her husband Larry Gooding, Noreen also embraced the role of step-grandmother to Larry, Michael, Kevin and Andrew with warmth and kindness.

She shared a close bond with both of her siblings Marianne Zajecka and Norman Middle. Her love extended deeply into her extended family as well--she was a cherished aunt to Cindy, Dean, Kelley, Ryan, Amanda and many more whose lives were touched by her presence.

Noreen was preceded in death by her beloved parents Norman O. Middle and Margaret L. Middle nee Greishaber, as well as her nephew Jason Middle and stepsons Marc and Bret Young.

Those who knew Noreen will remember her as the most caring, thoughtful, and giving soul--someone whose light brightened every room she entered. Heaven shines a little brighter now with her in their presence.

May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.

Visitation for Noreen will be from 11 AM - 12 PM on Monday, November 10, at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17w201 Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181, where a Funeral Service will follow at 12 PM. Interment at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery to follow.
