Patricia Ann Zagone, age 86, formerly of Plainfield, Illinois, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026, in Flat Rock, North Carolina. She was the beloved wife of John J. Zagone for more than 64 years and a devoted mother to John (Debby) Zagone of Hendersonville, North Carolina; Kenneth (Shellie) Zagone of Altamont, Tennessee; and the late Christopher Zagone. Patricia was a cherished grandmother of 11 and a loving great-grandmother of 2. She was the dearest daughter of the late Claude and Mayme Sheppard. Patricia retired from Robert Bosch Corporation in Broadview, Illinois, after many years of dedicated service. She was a longtime member of Peace Lutheran Church in Plainfield. Patricia found joy in line dancing, playing card games with her circle of friends at Carillon, camping, and traveling. Her warmth, kindness, and love of life will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Interment will be Friday at Mount Emblem Cemetery. A memorial service for Pat will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, February 28th, at Peace Lutheran Church, 24024 W. Main St, Plainfield, IL.
