

Patrick is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Joan (Joanie) Laramie. He was a proud and caring father to his three children from a previous marriage to Michele Turner: Nicholas (Elena) Laramie, Candace (Lorenzo) Alcantar, and Jessica Laramie and grandchildren Dylan (15), Emma (12), Marcella (10), Perla (19), Lorenzo (10), Christian (7), Katalina (2), Kayla (19), Karma (17), Khloe (14), Drake (11), and Gavin (9). Along with his loved brothers, David (Eileen) Laramie, Bob (Angela) Bradshaw, Jack (Katherine) Bradshaw, best friend Jim (Vicky) Kalasmiki, beloved nieces and great nephews and many loving cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlotte and Melvin Laramie, Elizabeth and Bernard Bradshaw, brother Bernie, and best friend Myron Lyzun.
Patrick dedicated many decades of his life to the shipping industry, where he worked as a shipping and warehouse manager. His hard work and dedication were evident to all who knew him.
Beyond his professional life, Patrick found immense joy in spending time with his family. He cherished every birthday and holiday celebration, always eager to create lasting memories with his loved ones. The summertime held a special place in Patrick's heart, where he could often be found relaxing in the garage and listening to the Chicago Cubs on the radio. His warmth, kindness, and pride in his family were unmistakable.
A memorial visitation to honor Patrick's life will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens West Hippach Chapel, 17W201 Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Following the funeral service, the family will be holding a small reception from 12:30pm - 3pm at Anyway’s Pub, 5 E Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace. Light refreshments and appetizers will be provided.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice in Patrick's memory. His legacy of love, laughter, and dedication will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished him.
