Reneé Lorraine Kapraun nee Davis, 60, passed peacefully in hospice care with family by her side on Thursday, December 21st, in Palm Harbor, Florida. She had recently moved to Dunedin, Florida with her love, Russ Soltis.
Beloved mother to Jennifer Kapraun; sister; aunt to many nieces and nephews; great aunt and friend to many.
Reneé was born in Chicago to Raymond and Esther Davis. A twin sister to Ruth (Karl) Hepp of Savage, MN., sister to Dawn (the late Thomas) Callahan of Downers Grove IL., Debra (Carter) Mecher of Roswell, GA., Diane (Thomas) Sullivan of North Sutton, N.H., Thomas (Laura) Davis of Twin Lakes, WI.
Reneé attended Von Steuben High School in Chicago and Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL.
She received her Master of Business degree from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son Matthew. She will be greatly missed.
