Ruth Moberg, nee Andersen, 96, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026. Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years John Jr. Daughter of the late Hans and Emma Andersen. Fond Sister of the late Arne (Ruth) Andersen. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Ruth shared a very fond and strong relationship with her family in Norway. She enjoyed traveling to Europe, the Caribbean and throughout the United States. She was also a devoted "Dog Mom" to her Boxer, Sandy.
Ruth worked at the former Melrose Park Bank for her entire career, achieving the role of Vice President before her retirement. Ruth was dedicated to her career and an advocate for female professionals through coaching and mentorship. She was beloved by her colleagues who were much more like family to her.
A Celebration of Life for Ruth will be held at a later date.
