Sandra Lee Beatty

Sandra Lee Beatty was born on April 3,1948 and passed peacefully on February 17, 2025, at the age of 76. As a loving mother, she was preceded in death by her two sons James R. Lee in 1993 and Kenneth C. Lee in 2018.

She was born in Elmira, NY, she spent most of her school years growing up in Glen Ellyn, IL then moved to Chicago during her adult and working years.

Sandra was an enterprising entrepreneur starting her own business called Organizing Plus working with clients to do just that – from accounting to closets. Later she started a women’s golf hat business called Totally Tops. Sandra also had a passion for golf which included two Holes-in-One. Along with husband Douglas they always traveled with their clubs and enjoyed playing in Florida, Michigan, Illinois, California and Hawaii.

Sandra had a wonderful fun-loving spirit and enjoyed anything that would make her laugh. She enjoyed stage productions (especially in New York), concerts (her favorite Steven Tyler & Aerosmith at the Hollywood Bowl), and anywhere there was music for dancing.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Douglas (Palm Beach Gardens, FL), her 2 brothers, Gary (Trinity, FL) and Rick (Cape Coral, FL), and 2 sisters Joan (Chicago, IL) and Lisa (Fairbanks, AK).

A visitation for Sandra will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM with a Chapel Service at 4:00 PM at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17w201 Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181, 630-941-5860. Interment is private.
