Zenaida A. Nidea

Dr. Zenaida A. Nidea, December 18, 1933 - January 4, 2026. Zenaida was born on December 18, 1933, in Manila, Philippines, and passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, on January 4, 2026, in South Bend, Indiana.

Zenaida was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dr. Higinio Nidea. Now, they are together in heaven and holding hands for eternity.

She is survived by her children, Dr. Luis V. (Fe), Dr. Anthony A. (Michelle), Joseph A. (Kelly), and Dr. Robert F. (Dr. Amy) Nidea, whom she raised with unwavering love, devotion, and sacrifice, and her grandchildren, Dr Brandon (Svetlana K.) Nidea, Nicole K. (Fiancée Kyle M. Coleman) Nidea, Lauren C. Nidea, Rachel A. (Fiancée Justin Tsang) Nidea, Neal C. Nidea, and Austin T. Nidea, whom she loved deeply.

Zenaida dedicated her life to being a doctor, serving others with compassion, professionalism, and grace. Above all, she deeply loved her family.

Her life was rooted in faith, service, and love, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her. May we find comfort in cherished memories.

A visitation for Zenaida will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 9:00AM-10:00AM with a chapel service to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home & Cemetery 17W201 Roosevelt Rd., Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181
