Johnnie C Glaze

Funeral service will be held at C.P. Bannon 6800 International Blvd. Oakland, CA on Tuesday 10/24/2023 at 11AM Burial immediately following at Lone Tree Cemetery 24591 Fairview Ave. Hayward, CA.

Johnnie was the 5th child of 8 children born to Swimmer and Murlean Glaze in Homer, LA. He started his education in Homer but at a young age the family relocated to CA. where he finished his education in the bay area.

Under his mothers' christian tutelage he confessed Christ at an early where his ministry in music began

from participating in Easter programs at church which led to Quartet singing with his brothers known

as The Glaze Brothers Faith Rejoicers.

Johnnie met and married Roberta Glaze whom he raised two beautiful daughters with, later his only son Kenji Thomas Glaze was born.

Preceding him in death was his parents, 4 siblings and his son.

He leaves to cherish his memories; (wife) Roberta Glaze (daughters) Portia Beene, Josie Beene, 3 brothers

James Glaze, Jesse Glaze and Roy Glaze. Grandchildren and host of other family members and friends
