Ms. Margaret Jean "Hot Shot" Johnson Griffin was born in Wilmar, Arkansas on May 7, 1937, to the parents of Jewell Jackson Griffin and William Griffin.
While young, she received the nickname "Hot Shot" from her father William Griffin, because of the way she rode a goat, and the colorful words that came out of her mouth.
A Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Margaret Jean "Hot Shot" Johnson Griffin will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 11:00 a. m. at the C. P. Bannon Mortuary, 6800 International Blvd, Oakland, CA 94621.
Ms. Margaret Jean "Hot Shot" Johnson Griffin will be laid to rest in the Rolling Hills Memorial Park, 4100 Hilltop Drive, Richmond, CA.
