

Cona was born on September 2, 1927, in Naso, Messina, Italy. She later made her home in the United States, where she devoted her life to her family and built a legacy rooted in love, tradition, and devotion.
On December 12, 1945, Cona married the love of her life, Carmelo Caputo. Together they shared many years of marriage and raised a family grounded in strong values, faith, and togetherness.
A devoted homemaker, Cona took great pride in caring for her family and home. She found joy in gardening, sewing, and cooking—skills she lovingly passed down through generations. Her kitchen was a place of warmth, laughter, and unforgettable meals that brought family together.
Cona was preceded in death by her husband, Carmelo Caputo, and her son, Pasquale Caputo.
She is survived by her children: Antonia, Ersilia, Maria, Rose, Elizabeth, and Anna; and her sister, Grace Emanuele.
Cona is also survived by her beloved grandchildren (13): Annette, Mark, Christina, Erick, Gina, Andrea, Nikki, Michael, Corinne, Whitney, Dylan, Kyle, and Kelsey.
She was further blessed with 16 great-grandchildren: Isabella, Elise, Kasey, Colby, Lane, Carson, Ben, Kayley, Kristen, Wyatt, Saylor, Teagan, William, Tripp, Harper, and Waylon.
Cona will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy lives on through the many generations she touched, guided, and inspired.
